For more than two decades Kings Carpet One Floor & Home has been tirelessly serving the flooring needs of greater Worland and the Big Horn Basin. Then and now, our family-owned-and-operated flooring business has maintained an active presence in the communities it supports.

Founded by the King family in the 1990s, our store quickly gained its reputation of providing quality products and superior service. In 2002, we joined forces with Carpet One Floor & Home, the world’s largest cooperative of independent flooring stores. Today, we’re pleased to offer a unique shopping experience, where each customer can enjoy the comforting experience of visiting a local business, while choosing from quality products not found elsewhere. Don and Kathy Mercado have owned Kings Carpet One since 2016, with many of the store’s original crew members staying on board. These days, our management team and staff have 85 years of collective industry experience.

While change is inevitable, we’re happy to say some things have remained unblemished by time. We will always believe strongly in the importance of treating each customer who walks through our doors with honesty, respect, and kindness – we’re here to look out for one another. That’s why we continue to dedicate our time and efforts to various community and nonprofit causes, focusing on such organizations as Washakie Cultural Museum, Children’s Resource Center, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Festivale of Trees, Worland Baseball and Softball, Tunnels to Tower, and Worland Humane Society, among many others.
